The Council of Kings Originally created by three commonfolk kings, this council was made to allow leaders of any nation or land to work together to bring peace and prosperity to all. They wished to avoid future wars and work things out through diplomacy. To do this, they invited an elven ruler and two dwarven rulers. Two of them would agree: the elven ruler and one of the dwarven rulers. The one who refused would later break away from their dwarven counterpart and form their own nation, which would then go to war with the members of the council as a show of their disapproval. In the end, it was a natural disaster followed by an invasion from the nearby Incendium Wyverns that would be the downfall of this nation, and the council split the abandoned land between the two nearest nations; what would one day become Isbrien and Auron. It would be many years after the initial founding, but eventually the Council of Kings would allow a ruinne ruler to join their ranks, as well. This ruinne leader only ruled a few scattered towns and cities, but it was this choice to allow the ruinne in that would one day lead to the formation of Fosinos. The daughter of the ruinne leader fell in love with a commonfolk prince, and together they'd combine their nations, forming Fosinos as it's known today. Membership to this council is often passed down to the next ruler of whatever land or nation that's already involved, which is how it's been for a very long time. At one point the council would only allow leaders that had some large portion of land, but recently they've allowed an aven leader to join, who owns no lands. Instead, she is known as the leader of a large group of nomads. This group is large enough that the council agreed she held just as much power as any other king or queen in the council. This is the first aven that's ever been allowed to join the council. Soon after this, the rulers of two different nomadic groups of manticores also requested to join the council, but neither of them have been accepted as of yet. Similarly, the leader of the Silver Feathers requested to join the council, but has yet to receive a response. To this day, no dousund, manticore, or dragonkin has ever been a member of the Council of Kings.
