Elven Race Bonus: +2 levels to Accuracy Ability: Proficiency Appearance Though similar to commonfolk in many ways, they can be easily identified by their long, pointed ears. They also tend to be slightly taller than most commonfolk, ranging anywhere from six to ten feet tall. Their skin and hair are often earthy colors, but can very rarely be born with white skin or hair. History & Culture Elven are one of the three humanoid races supposedly created by Theatis. They share many similarities with commonfolk, and one of the many traits they share is their prideful nature. Known for their "do it once and do it right" mentality, they are typically rather impatient; especially when it comes to failure. They've always been known as master craftsmen, capable of perfecting things down to even the tiniest of details. However, they aren't particularly accepting of those who often fail to meet their expectations. Even those of their own kind are sometimes out-casted for failing one too many times, and "failing" tends to have a rather broad definition to the elven. Those with bad handwriting can be considered failures amongst other elven. In the past they've been known to be the kind you don't want to go to war with, as they will often strike quickly and precisely, aiming to take down their enemies as efficiently as possible. Just as they refuse to accept failure in their crafts, they will rarely accept defeat in battle. |
