Geist The Trickster Goddess of Mischief & Joy Geist is well-known for her playful, but often deceitful personality. The stories told of her often include a game of her own making which turns out much harder than first described due to some untold twist in the rules. However, though she clearly dislikes losing, the stories tell of those who won her games always receiving some sort of reward. She may be childish, but she doesn't hold grudges. One of the most famous stories of Geist is how she lost a game to a group of commonfolk who she enjoyed playing with so much that not only did she grant them their wish, but gave them wings so that they could visit her in the skies and play more games in the future. This is believed to be the true story of how the first aven came into being. Her shrines are often built into the sides of steep cliffs or atop windy plateaus and often have colorful kites or pinwheels attached to them. Those who worship her will leave feathers atop these shrines, and it's believed that the ones who's feathers blow away immediately will receive a blessing of happiness from Geist herself.
