The Forged This group allows anyone to join so long as they complete one of the many jobs offered to them once a week. They are known as mercenaries that can be paid to do just about anything that's not overtly criminal. These so-called "jobs" are posted to a board and given a rank. Only those of that rank can take such jobs. The rank of the job usually indicates a level of difficulty, but sometimes it just means that a particularly wealthy or powerful individual is paying for the job's completion. To increase in rank, members only need to complete a certain number of jobs. Members of the guild can accept up to three jobs at a time, but they are expected to complete said jobs within five weeks of taking them. If not, the job is re-posted to the board. These boards can be found in every capital city of the world, but only Varnstad has a guildhall. This guildhall has the appearance and atmosphere of a joyous tavern. Members get one free drink for every job they complete, and they can temporarily stay in a room in the guildhall for free at any time so long as there is a room open. The guild itself is funded by taking a portion of every job's payment, so the members themselves are keeping the guild running smoothly by completing said jobs.
