Arvyros The Lone Hunter God of Foraging & Hunting Believed to be the least social of all the deities, the Lone Hunter rarely interacts with mortals. He is only really worshipped by hermits and lone hunters who live deep in the wilderness. They create small shrines of carved and polished bones and worship at them by leaving offerings of wild berries or fruits. It's said to be good luck if any berry plants or fruit trees begin growing on or near these shrines. Some say the only way to truly gain Arvyros' favor is to hunt down and kill a pure-white worryx without any aid. Those who have successfully completed this so-called "ghost hunt" claim that they found a white opal in the perfect shape of a worryx somewhere either nearby or inside the white worryx itself. Those who take good care of this opal always seem to have better luck while foraging or hunting. The very forests themselves seem to protect those who have these white opals. However, if the opal is ignored or damaged then it will turn black. It's rumored that those with these black opals are forced to leave the forest or else be hunted down, themselves, by a massive black worryx. Some even say that this black worryx is Arvyros, himself, taking on a physical form and hunting those who scorn his blessings.
